What this covers
This site, the Knack Strength waitlist, and the contact form. The app isn’t out yet. When it launches it gets its own policy covering training data.
What we collect

Keep health and medical details out of either free-text box. Use the waitlist note for what you want from the product and the contact message for ordinary questions or requests.
There's no account here and no password. We don't ask for your phone number, date of birth, address, or payment details.
Why we have it
- To email you about the launch, how the build is going, and offers, if you ticked the box
- To read and reply to messages you send through the contact form
- To work out what people want, so we build the right thing
- To run the list, action unsubscribes, and keep proof of consent
- To meet legal obligations
Who else has it
Two service providers currently handle website form data:

AWS and Cloudflare process this information on our instructions to host, secure, and deliver the website. No other provider currently receives website form data.
We'd also hand information over if the law required it. If Knack Strength is sold or merged it transfers with the business, and we'd email you first.
Selling and advertising
We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising. That covers the broad statutory sense of those words: exchanging data for anything of value, and handing data to advertising platforms for targeting.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
Three categories. This section tells you where we stand on each, and it gets updated whenever that changes.
Essential
What’s needed to serve the page and process your signup or contact message. In use.
Analytics
Aggregate measurement: how many people visit, which pages they read, where they arrived from. Where we use analytics, we use a privacy-preserving service that sets no cookies, stores no personal data, and doesn't follow you to other websites. Not in use as of the date above.
Advertising and marketing trackers
Pixels and tags that build a profile of you or target ads at you across other sites. Not in use.
Switching one on would change what we've said above about advertising, so we'd update this policy, change the date at the top, and email the list before it went live.
Do Not Track
Browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. Nothing on this site follows you across other websites, so there's nothing for that signal to switch off. If that changes, this section changes with it.
Third parties
AWS and Cloudflare process the information described above to operate and secure this site. We don't use either provider to track you across other websites.
Your choices
Unsubscribe in one click from any marketing email. Sending a contact message does not join the waitlist or grant marketing consent. Ask us what we hold, correct it, delete it, or withdraw consent at any time.
Email [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. No charge, no account required. Same for everyone, wherever you live.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist entries and consent records until staff delete them after a request or when the launch campaign ends. The server has no automatic deletion schedule.
We keep contact messages until staff delete them after resolving the request, when they are no longer needed, or after a deletion request. The server has no automatic deletion schedule for contact messages.
When an email platform is connected, we keep suppression records needed to honor unsubscribes.
Security
Your submission travels over an encrypted connection. The website databases and backups hosted by AWS are encrypted at rest. Access is limited to the people who need it.
No system is perfectly secure. We make no claim of HIPAA compliance. HIPAA governs healthcare providers and health plans, not a consumer fitness product.
Children
This site and its forms are for people 18 and over. If we learn we’ve collected information from someone under 18, we delete it.
Where it's held
The United States.
Changes
New versions get posted here with a new effective date, and we keep the old ones.
If a change is material, particularly if it widens how we use information we already hold, we email the list before it takes effect, and where the law requires it we ask rather than assume.
